In the two Week 23 games of the Glo Premier League played
today, Dolphins beat ABS 2-0, while Kwara United were held at home by
Sharks FC.
Omo Johnson and Emeka Atuloma scored in either half to give Dolphins all three points. It took the former league champions 41 minutes to break the resilient ABS defence as Omo Johnson turned in a pass from Johnson Olewezi to open scoring for the hosts.
ABS searched for an equalizer, but Atuloma headed in a corner from Chidiebere Okolie in the 80th minute to seal the win for Dolphins.
In Ilorin, Kwara United were held to a goalless draw by visiting Sharks FC. The Blue Angels will feel they have been denied a rare away win as the referee disallowed their goal deep into extra-time
