PSG'S defender Alexhas revealed that the club's stumbling as they try to secure a first Ligue 1 title in 19 years has made it "very stressful" at Parc des Princes.
A tight 1-0 win away to minnows Evian was followed by a tense draw against Valenciennes - in which two players were sent off for les Parisiens - though a win this weekend will secure the French championship.
Carlo Ancelotti's charges travel to Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday in what could be a tricky fixture but the former Chelsea defender was in bullish spirits ahead of it regardless.
"The last two games have been very stressful for us, but we have the experience to bounce back and forget about it. We want to achieve our goal: the title," the Brazilian, 30, told reporters on Friday.
"It will be difficult because Lyon want to qualify for the Champions League, so we know that it will not be easy.
"We are aware of the difficulties ahead, but we will be very focused and we will do everything to quickly get into the game and clinch victory."
Alex also praised the influence of Thiago Motta in the side, with the midfielder returning from a three-match ban at the Stade de Gerland.
"The presence of Thiago Motta is very important because he knows how to organise the game and he brings a big contribution to our football," he said. "The team needs him in midfield.
"We are of course delighted that he can participate in the upcoming matches to help us achieve our goal."
Finally, he gave his views on his three team-mates who have been nominated for Ligue 1's Player of the Year award - Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Blaise Matuidi and Thiago Silva - and is unable to pick an outright winner.
"It is difficult, they are all great players," Alex added. "They all have incredible importance to the club: Ibrahimovic is our scorer, Matuidi is always present in our midfield and Thiago Silva has enormous strength."
